Emma Teasdale

Emma is one of the Practice Managers at Sandes Avenue Dental Practice and has been part of the team since 2008, starting her career here at just 16. After qualifying as a Dental Nurse and registering with the GDC in 2011, she explored a range of clinical roles, even earning the title of Dental Nurse Cadet of the Year early in her journey.

Over the years, Emma has developed a passion for both patient care and behind-the-scenes operations. Her career has seen her manage multiple practices and gain experience in compliance, oral health education, and leadership. After rejoining the Sandes Avenue team in 2021, she progressed from Lead Nurse to Compliance Lead and is now proudly one of the Practice Managers.

Emma thrives on the organisational side of practice life, with a well-known love for spreadsheets, paperwork, and making sure everything runs like clockwork. From supporting clinical staff to fixing IT or dental equipment, her day-to-day role is incredibly varied, but always rooted in ensuring patients enjoy a smooth, welcoming experience.

She’s especially proud of the team culture at Sandes Avenue, describing it as one big family, something she believes patients feel the moment they walk through the door.

Outside of work, Emma enjoys house renovations with her husband Mike, early morning coffees, and exploring the Lake District with their springer spaniel Dylan. In 2022, they completed all 214 Wainwrights and got engaged at the top of Raven Crag. She also travels regularly to Scotland to spend time with her family and two energetic nephews.
