Lauren Boardley

Lauren brings over 20 years of experience in healthcare to her role as a Dental Nurse at Sandes Avenue Dental Practice. Having worked across a variety of care settings — including domiciliary care, palliative nursing, hospitals, and phlebotomy — she’s spent her entire adult life supporting others and creating a safe, reassuring environment for patients.

After a period living and working abroad in Crete, Lauren returned home to continue her healthcare journey, most recently qualifying as a Dental Nurse in 2025. Though new to the dental field, she brings a wealth of transferable skills and a natural ability to connect with patients.

Lauren is passionate about patient-centred care, taking time to understand each patient’s individual needs and making them feel comfortable, especially in situations that may feel unfamiliar or overwhelming. Her calm manner and strong communication skills make her a valued part of the team.

Outside of work, Lauren is a country girl at heart who enjoys being outdoors, staying active, and spending time with loved ones. She’s a big fan of music, animals, and travel, and loves learning about different cultures (and cuisines). She’s also a devoted Manchester United supporter and a keen rugby fan.
